This agreement is between Gatelime, which operates the travel planning, group coordination, maps, expense tracking, and AI-assisted features, and you, the user. Downloading the app, creating an account, or continuing to use the service means you have read and accept the current terms.
The service may include storing travel and plan data, calendar/plan entries, group sharing (e.g. joining with a PIN), notes, expense records, map display, and chat/assistant features powered by third-party artificial intelligence providers. Features may change or be discontinued over time.
The following is prohibited: unlawful purposes; infringing others’ rights; abusing the service with malware or unauthorised automation; attempting unauthorised access; accessing other users’ data without permission; spam or harassment; infringing intellectual property rights. We may restrict or terminate your account or access without prior notice in case of violation.
In-app AI outputs (suggestions, text, chat replies) are generated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. You should not rely solely on such outputs for travel decisions (transport, accommodation, health, visas, safety, etc.). Gatelime is not liable for direct or indirect loss arising from AI outputs. Third-party AI providers’ own terms may also apply as part of the service.
Map and location features are subject to your device and relevant platforms (e.g. Apple Maps). Gatelime does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of those platforms.
The app interface, branding, logos, software, and documentation are owned by Gatelime or its licensors. You receive only a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service; reverse engineering or unauthorised copying is prohibited.
You own content you create (plans, notes, expenses, chats). You grant us a limited, worldwide, sublicensable licence to use that content to operate, back up, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. We may remove content or block access where required by law or following a valid rights notice.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-interruption.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gatelime and its officers and employees shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profit, data, or business interruption). Our total liability is limited to amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim; for free use, liability is capped at zero.
You agree to defend and hold harmless Gatelime and related parties from third-party claims or demands arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the service.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service or features at any time. You may stop using the app. After termination, data handling follows our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention requirements.
We may update this document. Material changes may be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer or other protections in your jurisdiction, disputes shall fall under the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Central), Türkiye.
