This policy aims to describe how we process personal data in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”, Turkish Personal Data Protection Law) where applicable, and with common international privacy principles for users outside Türkiye. It is not a substitute for legal advice. Keep your official controller details and contact channels current on gatelime.com.

1. Categories of data we may process

Depending on how you use the app, we may process:

Technical and securityIP address, request timestamps, error logs, app version; limited logs for security and abuse prevention.

2. Purposes and legal bases

For users in the European Economic Area or UK, where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the bases above that best match each processing activity (contract, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligation).

3. Artificial intelligence and processors

Chat or assistant features may require sending your messages and (where applicable) plan context to third-party AI providers. Those providers act under their own policies and may process data as processors or independent controllers. Avoid sharing unnecessary personal or sensitive data in AI chats.

4. Retention

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service and to comply with legal retention periods. On account deletion or feature closure, we delete or anonymise data where technically feasible, except where law requires retention.

5. International transfers

Data may be transferred to countries where our servers or cloud providers are located. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g. contractual clauses) where required by KVKK, GDPR, or other applicable law.

6. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures (access controls, secure development practices, encryption where appropriate). No internet transmission is 100% secure.

7. Cookies and the website

If gatelime.com uses cookies or similar technologies, a separate cookie notice may be shown on the site.

8. Your rights

Türkiye (KVKK): You may have rights to learn whether your data are processed, request information if processed, learn the purpose and whether use is consistent with that purpose, know third parties to whom data are transferred, request correction or deletion where conditions are met, request notification to third parties of such actions, object to outcomes solely from automated processing, and request compensation for unlawful processing.

EEA / UK (where GDPR or UK GDPR applies): You may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Children

The service is not designed to collect personal data from children knowingly (e.g. under 13, or the applicable age in your region). If we become aware of such data, we take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes may be announced in the app or on the website. The current version is always published on this page.
